Free Estimates on New Systems
Operation Air Inc. will provide you with a free upfront estimate to replace your HVAC system or to replace your duct system. Our technicians will evaluate the cooling and heating needs of your home or office to help determine the right system or duct design that is suitable.
Proper System Sizing
Manual J Heat Load
Operation Air Inc. utilizes the Manual J Heat Loss/Gain Load Calculation program to accurately determine the proper system size and the design of the duct work. A number of factors are taken into account, such as the overall size of the home, orientation, individual room sizes, type and number of windows, and insulation values.
Far too many companies rely on the "rule of thumb" method to size equipment by basing the system tonnage on the number of square footage of the home. This often leads to an improperly sized system because it fails to take into account the previously mentioned factors. The most accurate way to determine the correct system tonnage is calculated by the Manual J Heat/Loss Gain method.
Oversized An oversized system will cause the system to "short cycle" by frequently cycling on and off. This will not only decrease it's efficiency but it does not allow the system adequate time to remove the latent heat (humidity) in the air. Oversized systems generally have a shortened life expectancy due to the wear and tear on the components.
Undersized An undersized system will require the system to work harder and run longer to remove the sensible heat from the home or office in order to reach the desired temperature during the hottest days. For these reasons, new equipment should always be sized by a licensed professional according to Manual J heat load calculations.
Warranty Operation Air Inc. offers extended warranties on new installations. A standard warranty may include a 10 Year warranty on parts and compressor, in addition to a 1 year labor warranty.

The ACCA (Air Conditioning Contractors of America) states, "Make sure that your contractor uses the Manual J® residential load calculation procedure. Insist on it! Manual J is the official standard for residential load calculation and is required by many building codes around the country."
